Not the full measure

Nightmare.

Whilst we both had a laugh at the story, it got me thinking about something.   If our batteries are not fully charged we dont give an accurate reading or measurement.  Perhaps we can't correctly weigh things up.

The Bible talks about the weight of a couple of super important things.  The weight of our sins,( Heb 12;1) and the weight of God's glory.(2 Cor 4 :17)   If our batteries are under charged perhaps we shall step on the spiritual scales and believe that our sins weigh less than they actually do.   Equally we may perceive that the glory of God is not as heavy on us as it really is.  If our scales are faulty we risk being deceived.

PS.  Didnt buy any coffee today. So that's a couple of pounds in the jar for a good cause yet to be determined.

As for confessing my sins...... well, I bought a 400g pack of chocolate flapjacks and scoffed nearly the whole lot in the car on the way home from work.  I just cant stop once I get started.  I've got a proper sweet tooth and a real addiction to sugary stuff 😔  I know I shouldnt.  But .......   sigh
